Conferences: I can't wait to sit and visit with everyone on Wednesday evening. The conference invitations were sent home. If your time doesn't work, please call and reschedule. I really do have lots of good things to share with all of the parents.
Painting: Thank you to Rylen's grandma and Trevor's mom for braving 2nd graders armed with orange paint! There were a few other volunteers who I have asked to join us when we do Christmas projects. We will paint and GLITTER then!
Party: Thanks everyone for sending in so many great party supplies. The kids had a wonderful time.
Spelling: Our homework is due on Friday, as usual. We will be practing long /o/ words.
Reading: Our story this week is a very popular story, Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Type. The kids have been anxiously awaiting this one.

Chapter Book: We just finished reading A Mouse Called Wolf. The kids definitely enjoyed it.
Math: We will focus on triangles, squares and perimeter (the distance around the outside of a shape).
Science: We will look at the life cycle of a plant.
