Hello,
I think that I may be off this weekend to try skiing again. A very kind young man named Jared did his best to teach me how to ski over break (mainly he picked me up off of the ground and didn't laugh TOO much).
Box Tops: We are still collecting Box Tops. Send them in please!
Book Orders: Book orders are due on Friday if anyone is interested. Just a reminder that cash is ok and checks may be written out to Scholastic Book Club - thanks.
Chapter Book: We finished reading Growling Grizzly and are onto another Junie B. Jones book. It is all about Pet Day. We are only a chapter into it and the kids talked me into a Pet Day.
Pet Week: All next week the kids may bring in one or two PICTURES of their pet(s). We will display the pictures in our room for a bit. Please send in pictures that are duplicates and are pictures that won't break your heart if something happens to them (like pets, children are unpredictable!).
Reading: We are starting the 2nd part of our reading series. The kids have finished their first book! Their homework this week is to read stories from the book to you. Please complete the attached homework sheet and return it (and the book) on Friday. Thanks.
