We are approaching the final stretch of 2nd grade. After Easter break time always seems to fly by so quickly. There are always lots of fun things thrown in during the last leg of the journey, too.
Walking field trip: Please sign the permission slip and return it on Monday. We are walking over to TinTina Resources on Thursday, the 16th. We will be reading a story about rocks this week and I thought that it would be the perfect time to accept an invitation to the TinTina.
Teach Children to Save: The Bank of the Rockies came and talked about saving money. There was a coloring sheet sent home with your child yesterday. Any elementary student who returns it to the bank, gets $5 put into their savings account.
Coloring Contest: The winner of our age group (at the hospital) was Sheila. Way to go Sheila!
Math: We will be finishing up our unit on time and moving onto graphing. I love graphing activities!
Science: We will be working on learning more about habitats.
